Warranty on Planters

Our GRC Planters, Custom Fibreglass Planters and Custom 3mm gauge Aluminium Planters are warranted to be defect-free in materials and manufacture for a period of 7 years from the purchase date. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, poor plant management or inappropriate plant choice (for example Strelitzias, Bamboo or Yuccas), nor does it cover misuse or fair wear & tear. 

Planters are not constructed to withstand extreme weight concentrations, so they must be installed with at least 85% of the footprint evenly supported.  Failure to do so will void the warranty. If placed on pods, the maximum span is 400mm in any direction.

If not installed by Pots R Us, planters must have a minimum of 4 holes each of 15mm (or equivalent) per square metre of planter footprint, and these must be evenly distributed.

If used as a water feature, possible damage due to the extreme weight of the water voids the 7 or 10-year warranty – the warranty only covers planters used for their intended purpose.  For example, increasing dimensions by a factor of 2 increases the weight of the water by a factor of 8.

Please note that colour choice in custom coloured planters may influence the extent of fading and so custom colours do not attract the 7-year defects warranty.
